THE YEAR IN REVIEW
Celebrating success in
2022–2023
We are delighted to report on key successes from the 2022–2023 financial year. We are grateful to our alumni, donors and friends for their ongoing support of the University of London.
The University raised over
£2m
in new funds
that support our key priorities, thanks to generous donations from alumni, friends and organisations.
We received legacy gifts
worth nearly
£600,000
from six generous alumni and friends who sadly passed away in 2022–2023.
More than
600
alumni and friends
donated to the University
and around
450
generously gave their time.
421
alumni
attended our events in Singapore and Pakistan in spring 2023.
Support for the
Warburg Institute’s Friends programme
increased by more than
100%
this year, and has grown by
390%
since the launch of the programme in 2019.
More than
1,300
alumni
registered to attend one of our graduation celebration events in London in 2022–2023.
This included more than
700
teachers
who were awarded honorary Bachelors of Education degrees at a memorable ceremony in London in June 2023.
Thank you
To all those who supported the University of London in 2022–2023, thank you.
